A Regional Approach to Environmental Data Management in the Caribbean

Data and information are used to assess, monitor and inform how resources are utilised and managed. In the Caribbean, responding effectively and responsibly to climate change and its impacts requires up-to-date, robust information that can influence and impact the types of decisions and policies that are developed. The work of the CPAG and the regional data management mechanism being pursued by the OECS are improving the knowledge available to policy/decision makers so they can make informed decisions to reduce/avoid adverse outcomes for nature and people.
