IMPAC5 Knowledge Session: From Knowledge to Action: A Case Study of Protected Area Management Effectiveness in Belize

The session will exhibit how the BIOPAMA Programme has supported the enhancement of Protected Area Management Effectiveness in MPAs across Belize, by increasing the capacity of management and governance and financially supporting actions on the ground through the BIOPAMA Action component. Additionally, the session will show how through data acquisition by the Caribbean Protected Areas Gateway (CPAG) key decisions can be made.
