Grenada Climate Finance Portal (2019)

Most health centres that have undergone a SMART Hospital assessment in Grenada do not have a water conservation plan. This plan, if implemented, can make a facility more resilient to the impacts of climate change such as more drought-like conditions.

As part of an initiative, under the Climate Resilient Water Sector in Grenada (G-CREWS) project to mainstream climate resilience in water-related sectors, the development of a water conservation plan for medical facility, along with the perceived benefits, is elaborated in this document.
